Helping Aspiring Young Adults

Mika specializes in working with adolescents and emerging young adults (also called “in-betweeners”) to:
  • Improve relationships and mechanisms for coping with teachers, parents, and friends;
  • Ease adjustments from one stage of life to the next stage, such as acclimatizing to Israeli culture and the education system;
  • Relieve stress and tension in anticipation of an independent lifestyle, army service and national service;
  • Cope with personal anxiety issues and mental health distress.

Mika employs a variety of techniques to eliminate unwanted behaviors and patterns, including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy and focused psychotherapy. Her methods are practical, goal-oriented and tailored to each individual’s circumstances. For client convenience, therapy is conducted online or face to face.
